We’re having company tomorrow night, so dinner will be somewhat special: Pineapple Habanero Glazed Ham.

It’s so easy and so good: this meal just cries out for guests to witness and help devour it!  I’ve got a pre-cooked ham, so any meal featuring it will be simple.  If your ham is not pre-cooked, you’ll need more time.

Just place the pre-cooked ham into a large baking dish, glaze your ham with Texas Pineapple Habanero pepper jelly and slide it into your 350-degree oven!  Don’t waste all that oven heat, either; let the ham share the space with most of the rest of the dinner.

Baked ham is always good with scalloped potatoes and baked beans; there should be room in the oven for all three, and the baking time for all three is the same, so just set your oven timer for an hour and go about your business.  You’re having guests, so sweep up all that cat hair and dust all the surfaces that show!

When the house starts to smell really, really good, it’s time to start putting your salad together, and when the timer goes off, remove all the food but leave the oven on.  Crack open some refrigerated crescent rolls and let them bake while the ham “settles” and the potatoes and beans stop boiling.

When the rolls are done, you and your guests are ready to eat.

P.S.  Use our habanero jellies or one of Texas Pepper Jelly’s fantastic and delicious grilling sauces in the baked beans.

Mmmm, I can almost smell it now.
