Heating up our habanero pepper jelly just turns it into a liquid. While it isn’t the consistency of our trademarked Rib Candy™ and Bird Bath™ products, you will be able to use it as a sauce.

When heating, do it slowly. Don’t rush the process. The jelly is already cooked.

In a pan on the stove is the best way to do this. Be sure to heat on low and stir constantly. Do not bring to a boil, as this will thicken the jelly by removing moisture.

Remember, this is habanero jelly so it might put some “pepper heat” into the air.
