Ingredients

  • 8-10 lb fully cooked spiral‑cut ham
  • 1 Bottle Apple n Brown Sugar Habanero Rib Candy
  • 3 tbsp Blended Honey Seasoning
  • ½-1 cup water, apple juice, or pineapple juice (for the roasting pan)

Equipment

  • Roasting Pan
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Measuring cup
  • Basting Spoon or Ladle
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Preheat the oven according to the ham's package directions.
  2. Place the ham bone‑side up if it is bone‑in in a large roasting pan.
  3. Pour ½–1 cup of liquid (water, apple juice, or pineapple juice) into the bottom of the pan to prevent the glaze from burning.
  4. Sprinkle Blended Honey Seasoning generously over the entire surface of the ham, letting it fall between the slices.
  5. Pour Apple n Brown Sugar Rib Candy directly over the top of the ham.
  6. Cover the ham loosely with foil. Bake according to package instructions (usually 10–12 minutes per pound).
  7. Remove the foil during the last 20–30 minutes. Spoon the warm glaze from the bottom of the pan over the ham and return it to the oven uncovered to finish caramelizing.
  8. Transfer the ham to a platter and let it rest 10-min before slicing.
  9. For a lighter glaze or a faster caramelized finish, the Rib Candy can also be added during the last 10 minutes of cooking instead of at the beginning. Simply pour the Rib Candy over the ham, return it to the oven uncovered, and let it set into a glossy glaze.
