What is brisket?
It is a dense cut of meat from the chest of a cow. It’s one of those cuts that become more tender the longer you cook it.
It has been used for years because it was known as a cheap cut of meat, until recently.
Jewish families have traditionally used this beef cut to make corned beef and it is sometimes used in the Vietnamese soup dish pho.
Our beef seasoning is perfectly blended for use when making smoked brisket, but don’t sell it short it’s great for any dish using beef.
Just as a note – the thicker the beef cut the more seasoning you should use. Thinner cut of meat? Don’t be as liberal with the seasonings you still want to taste the beef.
