A Feast of Fridays: Pineapple Habanero Pizza

feastoffridays Oh, this pizza is fantastic! It kicks ordinary Hawaiian pizza up more than one notch of deliciousness!!!

Ingredients:

Pizza crust
1 5oz jar of Texas Pineapple Habanero Pepper Jelly
1 cup diced pineapple, fresh or canned (drain it thoroughly!!!!)
1 cup diced ham
1 cup mozzarella cheese (any kind of cheese works here, so use whatever your family likes best)
Dash of oregano

What to do:

Spread the crust over the greased pizza pan. Spread the entire jar of Pineapple Habanero pepper jelly over the crust, and cover with the diced pineapple and ham.

Bake in a 425 oven, on the bottom rack, for about 15 minutes or until the crust is browned. Remove pizza from oven and sprinkle the cheese over it. Return to oven and bake at 350 until the cheese is melted.

Remove from oven, let pizza “sit” for about five minutes, then slice and step back.

You might want to make two of these, so the other one can bake while your family is diving into the first one.
